Pikantna pileća pašteta od ostataka iz juhe (Spicy Chicken Pate made of Soup Leftovers)

Često kuham pileću juhu. Ponekad (ma ustvari, vrlo često) nikome se osim meni ne jede kuhano meso iz juhe, a ponekad ni ja baš nisam raspoložena za iskuhano meso koje je okuse ostavilo u juhi. Postoji način da se to meso ipak dobro iskoristi. Potrebno je svega nekoliko sastojaka, blender i začini prema ukusu. Predlažem ovu kombinaciju.

2pileća batka i zabatka skuhana u juhi
25 gmaslaca
2češnja češnjaka
4filea slanih inćuna iz ulja
1 žličicapaste od čilija
2kisela krastavca srednje veličine (duljine oko 5 cm)
sol, papar
dodatno:otopljeni maslac za prelijevanje paštete (opcionalno)
Upute:
Odvojite kožu i bacite. Meso odvojite od kostiju, ako je dobro kuhano, meso će se gotovo samo odvajati. U blender stavite meso i sve ostale sastojke. Ako je meso toplo, maslac neće biti potrebno topiti. Miksajte u blenderu dok ne postignete glatku smjesu.

Izmiksanu paštetu stavite u zdjelicu i prelijte otopljenim maslacem. Dobro ohladite. Maslac čuva površinu paštete od oksidiranja (tamnjenja). Pašteta može stajati oko 2 dana.

Ako ne volite ljuto i previše začinjeno, umjesto paste od čilija probajte kombinirati masline, svježi vlasac ili koji god okus vam odgovara.

I often cook chicken soup. Sometimes (very often, actually) nobody but me wants to eat the meat from the soup, and sometimes even I’m not in the mood for overcooked, flavorless meat. But there is a way not to waste the meat. All you need is a blender, few ingredients, and spices of your choice. I recommend this combination.

Spicy Chicken Pate
2chicken leg quarters cooked in soup
25 gbutter
2garlic cloves
4salted anchovy fillets in oil
1 tspchilli paste
2pickled cucumbers (around 5 cm long)
salt, pepper
additi-onally:some melted butter for pouring over the pate (optional)

Directions:
Remove skin and bones from the cooked chicken meat. Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Put the pate in a glass jar or in a smaller bowl. Additionally you can pour over melted butter. This will prevent oxidation of the surface on the pate. Refrigerate.

If you don’t like too spicy and hot pate, instead of chilli paste you can try to combine some other ingredients like olives or fresh chives…
